In looking back at 2021, we look forward to an uncertain yet exciting future.
As the pandemic bled from 2020 into 2021, we saw an entire year’s slate impacted by entirely new and shifting production guidelines. How did that change what we saw on screens, but also what screens we saw things on? How did it change how we made things, and who we make them for?
Underneath it all, though, we question—why? Why do we make films, or pursue this especially now as the ground beneath us has shifted in tectonic fashion?
We at the NFS Podcast attempt to provide some answers while talking about what we loved this year, or didn’t, and how much things have changed.
