Apple has announced it is holding its next product launch event on September 7th, confirming rumors shared last week which stated the next-generation iPhones would be announced in a livestreamed event two weeks from now.
Apple’s confirmation comes in the form of an invitation sent to the members of the press, which uses the tagline ‘Far out’ for the event. Apple didn’t reveal any further details on what we can expect from the event, other than the time and location: 10am PT on September 7, 2022 at the Steve Jobs Theater on Apple’s Cupertino campus.
One notable detail that differs from the initial reports is that the event will in-person in addition to livestreamed. When reported on last week, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said the event would be online-only.
