Missed last year’s filmmaking lab with acclaimed director Apichatpong Weerasethakul? Apply for this year’s lab by June 15th.
In August, fifty filmmakers will travel to Yucatan, Mexico to live and create films remotely for 10 days. With this lab, Weerasethakul (Memoria, Tropical Malady) is revisiting a workshop methodology originally created by Abbas Kiarostami and later adapted by Werner Herzog. Not only is this an opportunity to develop new work, but a chance to connect with a group of filmmakers from around the globe. Don’t miss the chance to apply!
