When a TV show is on for multiple seasons, you know it must have some great characters. You need people on the screen that keep bringing the audience back for more. And you have to invent new people each season to bolster those efforts. Today. I want to dive into 10 of the best characters on Stranger Things, the Netflix hit that will soon return for its 5th season.

Millie Bobby Brown brought this young girl with psychokinetic abilities to the masses. She became part of the cultural lexicon and was such an exciting protagonist.
2. Steve Harrington
Joe Keery gave us a remarkable character arc, from a self-centered jock to a caring and heroic figure, within this series.
3. Dustin Henderson
Gaten Matarazzo brought the laughs as soon as he arrived on screen. He also adds an emotional core to the show.
4. Jim Hopper
David Harbour is the gruff but compassionate police chief who is sort of like a father figure to all the kids in the series.
5. Max Mayfield
Sadie Sink became the star of many memes when her character’s obsession with Kate Bush helped drive home the nostalgia of the show.
6. Nancy Wheeler
Natalia Dyer hits all the right notes as the older sister gets in on the adventure. Her arc over three series into an investigative reporter kept her evolving.
7. Jonathan Byers
Charlie Heaton his the perfect notes as the concerned older brother in season one. Over the course of the story his charm comes to the forefront.
8. Will Byers
Noah Schnapp sells the struggle of the kid stuck in the Upside Down that carries the actual heart of the series and shows PTSD within his arc.
9. Robin Buckley
Maya Hawke has become a fan favorite thanks to her character’s snappy lines of dialogue and really witty comebacks when dealing with Steve.
10. Eddie Munson
Every 80s show needs a hair rocker, and Joseph Quinn really rocks out as part antagonist and part hero in Hawkins.

After almost 5 seasons of the show, Stranger Things introduced us to some characters who will stand the test of time.
