While not a video-focused camera in the same vein as your usual digital mirrorless or cinema cameras, the PTZ line from Atomos does serve its purposes. For classrooms, houses of worship, and conference rooms for remote meetings, the new Atomos A-Eye 4K-20X PTZ Camera will be a nice option for all types of uses.

The Atomos A-Eye 4K-20X PTZ Camera will be able to capture up to UHD 4K60 and 1080p60 over IP and HDMI, USB-A, and 3G-SDI. It will also feature AI auto-tracking for presentations where your subject moves around the room, which should make it great for education, how-to videos, and corporate environments without the need for an operator.

The Atomos A-Eye 4K-20X PTZ Camera also includes a license for NDI|HX3 high-quality, low-latency streaming networks. You can also record video directly on a hard drive via USB-A output.

Atomos reports that video output can be compressed using H.265, H.264, or MJPEG formats. The camera will feature a built-in mic and support external audio input via a 3.5mm stereo line-level jack for embedding audio into your stream.

Power can be provided by a power adapter or via PoE+ (power-over-Ethernet) on a supported network.
